Vox was in the dining room. He had an unusual dinner today. On the table was a cage with two little dragons. Julia and Bry lay unconscious in a cage. For this list, I’ll be looking at the major characters who appeared in the film version of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story, ‘Matilda’. Apologies to Nigel Hicks, whose role was greatly diminished. In case anyone has yet to read the book or see the film, a SPOILER ALERT is in effect. For this list, I’ll be starting with Good and working my way down. THE GOOD Miss Jennifer Honey: The gold medal of good has to go to the kindest and most beloved teacher any child could possibly ask for. Miss Honey is described as a truly remarkable person who appreciates every single child for who he or she is. Despite the abuse she has suffered over the years as a result of being Miss Trunchbull’s niece, she never lets her trauma interfere with her teaching and tries her very best to make everyone else feel special, happy and secure. Despite not being brave enough to stand up for herself, she is fully capable of rising to the defence of others, especially Matilda. She is also the only adult to
